HOOKED - Chat Stories

I remembered having this app a few years ago, and it was decent for scary, text style stories. I saw an ad on Youtube for this app, and decided to redownload since I recalled fond memories of the scary stories. Well, just as everyone else seems to have said, it immediately started playing a video, then after 5 seconds told me to buy a subscription or wait 15 minutes, with no way to get to a home screen or menu options. NOT the app I remembered.

Whichever type of genre you want ( Horror or Romance) They automatically send you to a video. Then another and another and there isn't a way to get back to the home screen. Even closing and re opening the app doesn't work. It's only good if you want to watch some cool movies. But from what I've seen it's better as an add than an app. 3/10. But really a 0 star app.

Saw an ad on YouTube that had me intrigued so I downloaded the app and couldnt access unless I signed up for their free 3-day premium subscription that was 19.99 a month after the trial; there were no other subscription options. For reference, Netflix premium is 15.99 a month. Hooked does not have status, recognition, and content (that I know of) to charge $20 a month for access. Absolutely ridiculous and disappointing.
